Notes
Smite evil – once per day, as a swift action, choose one target within sight. If target is evil, add charisma bonus to attack rolls and add paladin level to all damage rolls made against target. If the target is an outsider with the evil subtype, an evil-aligned dragon, or an undead creature, the bonus to damage on the first successful attack increases to 2 damage per level. Regardless of the target, smite evil attacks automatically bypass any DR the creature might possess. While smite evil in effect, gain a deflection bonus equal to charisma modifier to AC against attacks made by the target. If target is not evil, the smite is wasted with no effect. The effect remains until the target is dead or the next time you rest
Lay on hands – (1/2 level + cha modifier) per day, heal 1d6 damage per 2 paladin levels. Requires touch. On self, swift action. On others, standard action. Can be used to harm undead – requires a melee touch attack which does not cause an attack of opportunity. Mercy effects also affect those you lay on hands to.
